Nature Quote / Mantra

Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful – Albert Schweitzer Tweet this!

Childhood Memory

Her very first famliy camping trip when she was five years old. Her dad opened a can of beans and put it over the campfire. She remembers looking around and thinking about how much fun it was. From that first experience she remembers how cool it was and her relationship with nature and what nature can give back to her.

Outdoor Experience

Her junior year in highschool, her basketball team went on a camping trip to Yosemite. She remembers having to get up early one morning and everyone moaning about waking up at 5am. They went on a hike to the bottom of Half Dome by way of Vernal and Nevada Falls. She stopped and couldn’t believe she was mad that she had to get up early to experience what she was seeing and feeling.

Nature Effect

Her favorite thing about being in nature is that she doesn’t feel the draw of technology because there are so many amazing things she can look at. It provides her with balance from her online business. She doesn’t feel like she has to be on the computer or on the phone when she is outside.

Inspirational Idea

She was out on a run thinking about the topic of burnout she was going to write about on the blog. As soon as she came back from the run, she was able to come back and freely write a 2000 word post that she felt would be really valuable.
